Army forces kill, injure 59 terrorists in Anbar

59 terrorists have been killed and injured from Iraqi Military operations in al-Anbar. The 8th Infantry Brigade of the Iraqi Army, with support from the Iraqi Air Force (IAF) have destroyed a number of hideouts and vehicles belonging to ISIS.

Operation to liberate rest of Salahuddin began, says PM

"On Sunday, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi announced, that the security operation to liberate the rest of the areas in Salahuddin from the ISIS group militants has begun in the province."

The military operation will contain the following rules:

“The safety of civilians is a strategic goal for the government.”

“The army forces were instructed not to harm civilians unless they raised weapons or joined ISIS,“

9 battalions of federal police deployed in Baghdad belts to expel ISIS

The Federal Police of Iraq have discovered the existence of sleeper cells. They've deployed 9 battalions to the streets of Baghdad to remove any remaining ISIS members from the city.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Baghdad Operations Command announced, that 27 terrorists have been killed and 162 explosives were removed in an extensive security operation in northern Baghdad.

Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, “On the second day in a row, Iraqi troops of Baghdad Operations Command are advancing in an security operation to liberate the areas of al-Hawra, al-Buhairat and Tal-Tasa, located in northern Baghdad,” adding that, “Army forces have managed to kill 27 terrorists and remove 162 explosive devices, in addition to destroying a number of vehicles and motorcycles that belonged to the militants.”

Market Bombing in New Baghdad, 4 Civilians Dead and 26 Wounded

(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, Baghdad Operations Command announced that, four civilians have been killed and 26 others were wounded in the two bombings that took place in New Baghdad area and at the Arab Market in the capital, Baghdad.

Spokesman of the BOC, Brigadier Gen. Saad Maan said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The terrorist suicide attack targeted civilians inside a popular restaurant in the New Baghdad district southeast of Baghdad, and resulted in killing three people and wounding 18.”

Maan added, “Another terrorist attack by an explosive device occurred inside a food booth at the Arab Market downtown Baghdad, leaving one civilian dead and eight others injured.”

A security source said earlier on Saturday that 13 people were killed and 41 others were wounded in an explosion in New Baghdad district in eastern Baghdad.

Moreover, the source confirmed that 9 people were killed and 32 were wounded in two consecutive bombings with explosive devices and an explosive belt at the Arab Market in central Baghdad.

Suicide Bomber Detonates in Central Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A suicide bomber detonated his explosives in central Baghdad on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The suicide bomber detonated his explosives amid the citizens in al-Arabi Market place, killing five civilians and injuring 13 others.”

It is worth mentioning that this bombing is the second of its type in Baghdad on Saturday. /End/
