Kayla Mueller's Boyfriend Describes Effort To Free Her

PHOENIX (AP) — Kayla Mueller was in a detention cell, face to face with her Syrian boyfriend. Had she told her captors she was married to Omar Alkhani, she might have been freed from the hands of Islamic State militants, he said. Instead, she denied being his wife.

After posing as Mueller's husband and persuading a string of people to let him plead for her release, Alkhani left the room empty-handed. He said he saw her face for just a few seconds when guards uncovered it.

The guards had assured Mueller, 26, that Alkhani would not be harmed if she told the truth, so she apparently stuck to honesty to save him rather than take the slim chance to save herself, he said.

Video analysis outlines missile strike with nuclear warhead

By Jeff Smith and Gordon Duff

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOiUd-zun9g#t=83

The video was supplied by Glen Canady. The analysis done by Jeff Smith, nuclear physicist and nuclear weapons expert, former investigator for the IAEA.

The date is August 2014, location Donetsk. The evidence indicates a nuclear missile attack, ground to ground, launched by the Kiev government. No conventional, thermobaric or otherwise, weapon could have done this.

There is clear evidence of a missile. We waited for someone to act, do something, say something meaningful, then we acted. We clearly have a nuclear war ongoing in the Ukraine. From Jeff Smith:

35 to 40 seconds in on the right hand side of the video is the nuke going off. The Yellow Orange flash is from alpha and beta radiation being generated in the atmosphere by the warhead detonation. The Radar proximity fuse detonated the warhead between 1,000 to 3,000 feet in altitude.

At least 50 so-called Islamic State (IS) militants were reported dead in an intense day of clashes and US-led airstrikes in the Syrian border town of Kobani, a monitoring group has said.

The fighting, which took place on Saturday and early Sunday, was reportedly one of the deadliest 24-hour periods for IS militants since they launched a mid-September assault to seize the city from its predominantly Kurdish population, the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Eleven Kurdish fighters were also killed, according to the group.
