Violent clashes between security forces and ISIS elements west of Fallujah

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, violent clashes broke out between the security forces and ISIS militants after ISIS attacked al-Falahat area west of Fallujah, according to a security source in Anbar province.

The source informed IraqiNews.com, “The ISIS militants launched this evening a violent attack on al-Falahat area west of Fallujah, where Habbaniyah military base is located, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes that are still ongoing.”

“The Iraqi Army Aviation has participated in repelling the attack and bombed a number of targets,” it added.
